What We Do

Post pregnancy we mothers experience a disconnect with our own body and identity. Yoga offers a natural way to overcome your internal fear and connect back with your bodies while finding the balance. Our Ashtanga Yoga practice will help you on your path to recovery by strengthening your abs, spine and pelvic floor and also, improving hormonal imbalance.

ASHTANGA YOGA

How could kids benefit from yoga? What are the benefits of yoga in various situations (anxiety, rage, calming the energy)? Why is breathing important for kids?

Kids experience extreme emotions very quickly. One moment they might be super excited and the very next moment they could be crying their hearts out. Most of the time, they don’t have a means to channelise their emotions. Using breathing technique as a core of my Kids Yoga, I help them develop a muscle to deal with these situations effectively.

Patanjali Ashtanga yoga is the most ancient form of yoga, which later bifurcated into various forms like Astanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa, Hatha. Ashtang aids yogis in the evolution of a restless mind to a more composed and controlled mind. The practice of Ashtang is broadly divided into eight sections or eight limbs :

YAMA( Restraints), NIYAMA(Observance), ASANA( Postures), PRANAYAMS( Regulation of Breath), PRATYAHARA( Withholding of Senses), DHARANA( Concentration), DHYANA(Meditation), SAMADHI(Stillness of the mind).

These steps aim to gradually bring discipline in behavior by purifying the Body and

Mind, an essential requisite to achieve yoga.
